Machine Learning Developers Conference 2017
April 26 - 27, 2017 - SANTA CLARA, CA
SAN FRANCISCO, CA October 6, 2016 – Extension Media announced today its Machine Learning Developers Conference - addressing the technical challenges and business opportunities of machine learning and artificial intelligence in embedded systems - will launch April 26-27, 2017 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
"Given the tremendous technological advances, machine learning and artificial intelligence is now a reality. We see our newest event, the Machine Learning DevCon, as an essential gathering and a valuable tool for developers, engineers and managers to meet, learn and collaborate", stated Vince Ridley, President of Extension Media.
While the co-located IoT DevCon provides practical training for developing IoT applications for medical devices, robots, drones, point-of-sale equipment, industrial automation and more, the Machine Learning DevCon will explore the hardware and software challenges of building up and debugging these complex machine learning and artificial intelligence systems. The conference will also feature an exhibition showcasing demos and technologies targeted on machine learning and artificial intelligence implementations.
Markus Levy takes the helm as Conference Chair of both events. "Although machine learning appears to have been catalyzed by the IoT, it is really a multi-faceted topic covering many application domains that have been in development for many years," said Levy. "Our conference will bring together key vendors providing hardware and software that will help system designers implement machine learning systems." With his engineering and analyst background, he'll bring a unique program together with market insights, technology forecasts, and practical engineering and programming. One that promises to address challenges as well as opportunities.
More information is available at: www.MLDevCon.com. Guest registration opens on November 1, 2016.

Extended versions of selected best papers will appear in SCIE-indexed international journals, such as the Soft Computing journal (Impact Factor: 1.63). ICNC-FSKD 2017 is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (pending).
ICNC-FSKD is a premier international forum for scientists and researchers to present the state of the art of data mining and intelligent methods inspired from nature, particularly biological, linguistic, and physical systems, with applications to computers, circuits, systems, control, robotics, communications, and more. This is an exciting and emerging interdisciplinary area in which a wide range of theory and methodologies are being investigated and developed to tackle complex and challenging problems. The registration fee of US-D460 includes proceedings, lunches, dinners, banquet, coffee breaks, and all technical sessions.
To promote international participation of researchers from outside the country/region where the conference is held (i.e., China's mainland), researchers outside of China's mainland are encouraged to propose invited sessions. An honorarium of US-D400 will be enjoyed by the organizer(s) for each completed (with at least 6 registered papers) invited session. The first author of each paper in an invited session must not be affiliated with an organization in China's mainland. "(Invited Paper)" may be added below the title of each paper in the invited sessions. Invited session organizers will solicit submissions, conduct reviews and recommend accept/reject decisions on the submitted papers. Invited session organizers will be able to set their own submission and review schedules, as long as a set of recommended papers is determined by 3 June 2017. Each invited session proposal should include: (1) the name, bio, and contact information of each organizer of the invited session; (2) the title and a short synopsis of the invited session.
